The group proved itself adept at the “love bombing” technique via Facebook. Having identified the woman as a possible victim of their fraud, they showered her with attention and compliments through a fictitious profile and, little by little, they stole her trust and made her fall in love.
Once we were certain that he was “right”, the virtual relationship turned into a nightmare: in a subtle way, the supposed lover began to ask for financial help due to financial and health problems. It took a while for the woman to recognize that she was deceived and to find the courage to report it.
