The explosion occurred shortly before dawn on Friday, injuring three people, the collapse of a building and damaging dozens of businesses. It was a caravan parked on Second Avenue, near an AT&T telecommunications company building, which exploded. Police immediately said they believed the explosion was intentional and later released a picture of the involved caravan from roadside security cameras. According to the intervening agents and some witnesses, a message from the camper warned of the presence of a bomb before it exploded.
