It happened in a school in the Maremma: there are no teachers and classes are interrupted until Monday. The fact was denounced by Il Tirreno.
The return to school was short-lived for the students. After only three days we go home and this time not because of the Covid cases but because there are no teachers.
The principal of the school, a secondary school, decided to bring the students back on Monday pending the appointment of substitutes. The mayor of Monterotondo Marittimo, Giacomo Termine, sent a letter to the Ministry of Education and the Region to resolve the situation.
Substitutions: how many are they really
After the alarm launched yesterday by the unions in a videoconference on the hottest issues of back to school, the Ministry today issued a statement addressing the problem of substitutes. The Ministry denies a “boom in substitutes”, speaking of data in line with those of previous years and that of the 130,000 positions planned, 110,000 are already assigned.
