A 40-year-old man shot his wife, twin children, and family dog, then killed himself. The tragedy took place this morning around 5.30, a Carignano, in the Turin area, in a private chalet. The woman was found dead by the police who, alerted by the neighbors, broke down the door, while the children, two twins, were rushed to the hospital in very serious condition: one of them died shortly after. The dog also died. The little sister is still very serious. The man, despite 118 medical assistance, died shortly after. At the scene, the carabinieri are investigating the reasons for the kidnapping that led the man to act.
The conditions of the girl admitted to intensive care at the Regina Margherita Children’s Hospital in Turin, where her brother arrived dead, are desperate. According to health sources, he has a very serious head injury.
Alberto Accastello would have announced his intentions by phone, in a conversation with his brother who lives in Racconigi (Cuneo). This is what emerges from the first investigations of the carabinieri.
