The Lombardy Region Functional Monitoring Center for Natural Hazards issued a yellow (ordinary) criticality warning for severe thunderstorms and hydrogeological risk as of the night of Sunday, September 6.
The advisory not only refers to Lombardy and foresees scattered or generalized rains, predominantly of a reverse or storm nature, in Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto and Liguria, from the early hours of Monday, September 7, also to Emilia-Romagna.
Based on the expected phenomena, an orange lightning storm risk alert was evaluated for Monday in most of Liguria. while the alert is yellow in western Liguria and in large sectors of Piedmont, Lombardy and Veneto, as well as throughout the territory of Emilia Romagna and Sicily.
