The number of people who registered on the portal of the Sicily region to communicate the own return to the island from beyond the Strait: there are already 62 thousand.
In the newsletter provided by the Asp, writes Salvatore Fazione in the kiosks of Giornale di Sicilia, it was learned that on Friday 3,089 swabs were made in Palermo to those who returned and 8 positives were detected. Of these 2,602 tests were carried out at the airport with 4 positives detected, 409 at the port with 4 positives and 78 at the port of Termini Imerese without any positives.
In Catania, however, 4,816 swabs were carried out at Bellini airport with 12 isolated positives. In all active stations in Catania, 5,312 smears were made to detect returns, of which 42 were positive.
Meanwhile, 12,800 Sicilians have already registered on the Region’s portal in two days to reserve the anti-Covid vaccine. These are doctors, nurses, health workers but also the elderly and those who work in the structures that serve them: they belong to the so-called risk categories to which the first doses that will arrive will be reserved.
