WHAT HAPPENED Willy, 21, an Italian of Cape Verdean origin, lived in Paliano, in the Frosinone area: for having defended a friend of his shortly before, he was savagely attacked, kicked and hit even on the head, in Colleferro, in the province of Rome. Four boys between 22 and 26 years old were arrested for the attack, tracked down by the Colleferro carabinieri shortly after the beating: they were in Artena, where they had fled by car. The crime they are accused of is homicide.
Two other colleagues were injured who, upon witnessing the scene, intervened and reported injuries considered curable in 10 days. Unfortunately, the help was useless for Willy, who arrived dead at the hospital. The commander of the Colleferro carabinieri station was among the first to go to the scene of the attack.
