Florence, October 19, 2020 – Of course good october. In the afternoon The dem line is drawn: if Italia Viva wants to join the council, it cannot take Health, in any case, another thick department such as Urbanism. Livorno’s phone calls also reach the top of the Pd: “Ashamed by the election of Cosimi” is the most tender message. Italia Viva for its part does not give up. In the evening again face to face with Giani: Nicola Danti confirms “that we will not return or we are out of the council”. Yesterday Giani stressed “that we will have three difficult months ahead” in reference to the Covid wave. It is not excluded that in the end the health delegation ends up with a technician even if it is on time. This morning Italia Viva will evaluate the “political counterproposal” and decide.
For now for sure Dem Leonardo Marras, Alessandra Nardini, Monia Monni and Simone Bezzini join the council. Also on the team is Serena Spinelli from the ecological civic left. Always among the probable Stefano Baccelli, the uncertain Giacomo Bugliani and Stefano Ciuoffo. The leader of the Democratic Party could be one of Vincenzo Ceccarelli, Enrico Sostegni and Gianni Anselmi while Giacomo Bugliani and Antonio Mazzeo play the role of president of the regional council. Today the eleventh regional legislature opens: work will begin in the Palazzo del Pegaso at 3:00 p.m. During the session, the president of the regional council will be elected by secret ballot, then the mandate program and the council will be presented.
