The contagion curve of Coronavirus in Campania it seems to have stabilized, but it is still too early to speak of a real change. If, on the one hand, the number of new cases in recent weeks has remained at around 3,000 (more below than above this threshold), in fact, it is still a very high number, even net of asymptomatic. Meanwhile, the government has decided to extend the red zone for at least one more week, while Christmas is less than a month away and the holidays and how they can be spent with the family are unknown.

Campania Red Zone until December 3

Meanwhile, the Government has decided to extend the red zone in Campania until December 3, the day the current DPCM will also expire. The order arrived on the afternoon of Friday, November 27, signed by Health Minister Roberto Speranza. It is difficult to predict the next scenarios at the moment: surely on December 4 a new DPCM will come into force, which will mainly regulate the next thirty days, which include all the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Contagi, “stable” curve but still high

Yesterday, in Campania, 2,924 new infections were registered, arising from the analysis of 22,301 swabs. In the previous 24 hours, 3,008 of 23,761 swabs were tested. Numbers that have remained almost unchanged this week, with one “stable” curve about 3,000 cases per day, but still high. The number of deaths grows, which in the month of November alone is just under a thousand cases, more than what had been registered since the start of the pandemic in October.
