The month of December that just ended was the darkest month for the pandemic in Campania: 1,143 deaths from Covid, with an average of 36 per day. The number of people infected since the start of the pandemic in Campania has risen to 191,407, with 2,055,822 swabs tested.
Hospitalized in Campania, the situation of hospitals
In Campania, according to the latest newsletter (The data was released yesterday afternoon, January 1, and refers to midnight on December 31) 1,359 (+34) people are hospitalized in ordinary Covid hospitalization, despite the availability of 3,160 beds between public and private. In Campania 1,143 people died in December (In November there were 1,045, an average of 34 per day). The positives were 34,975, with an average of 1,128 per day (in November they were 96,832, or 3,228 per day on average). The number of cured patients also increased: in the whole month 58,383 (1,883 per day on average), while in November they were 40,086 (1,336 per day).
