In the Forlì area up to 26 new positives, 8 are contacts of already known cases identified through the tracking activity, 3 return from abroad (Albania, Greece and Spain), 8 are linked to the outbreak of the Cervia nightclub and 4 of contacts with boys and girls who had gone to the same nightclub, 3 due to a request for a swab by the GP and 1 sporadic case linked to a person with symptoms.

Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, 31,547 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 164 more than on Thursday, of which 91 asymptomatic were identified as part of regional contact tracing and detection activities. Even today in Emilia-Romagna there are more than 10 thousand tampons. Of the 164 new cases, 61 were already isolated at the time of the swab run and 85 were identified in known outbreaks.

There are 25 new infections related to returns from abroad, for which the Region has provided two nasopharyngeal swabs during fiduciary isolation if they arrive from non-Schengen countries and one swab if they return from Greece, Spain, Croatia and Malta. . The number of return cases from other regions is 34.

The average age of new positives today is 32.5 years. Of the 91 new asymptomatic patients, 18 were identified through screening and tests introduced by the Region, 66 through contact tracing, 3 cases emerged from prehospital tests, and the origin of 4 is still unknown.
Regarding the situation in the area, the highest number of cases is registered in Forlì (26) and in the provinces of Modena (23), Bologna (22), Ravenna (21) and Piacenza (18).

In Modena and the province of 23 new positives, 4 returned from abroad (Moldova, Ukraine, Greece and Spain), 7 returned from Sardinia, 2 cases related to the outbreak of clubs in Cervia, 2 in companies in the logistics sector that tested positive for the company screening, 1 contact tracing, 1 health residence operator and a sporadic case.

In the province of Bologna, out of 22 new cases, 6 refer to people returning from Sardinia, 3 returning from Apulia and 1 from Umbria. There are 7 cases of return from abroad (4 from Spain, 2 from Ukraine and 1 from Romania), 3 attributable to people with symptoms, 1 as a case of already known contact and 1 attributable to the outbreak of the Cervia nightclub.

In Ravenna and its province, out of 21 new positives in 12 cases, these were girls and boys who had attended the Cervia nightclub (11) and one of their contacts (1). Of the rest, 3 due to contacts of already known cases, 4 returned from vacation in Sardinia, 1 after access to the hospital due to symptoms and 1 after a voluntary test.

In the province of Piacenza, out of 18 new positives, 8 were identified as contacts of known cases, 5 returned from abroad (2 from Tunisia, 1 from Romania, 1 from Algeria, 1 from Albania), 3 returned from trips to Italy ( Sardinia), 1 thanks to a health surveillance visit at the workplace, 1 because it is symptomatic.

In Reggio Emilia and its province, out of 16 new cases, 3 are referred and returned from abroad (2 from Romania, 1 from Albania), 7 on vacation in Italy (Sardinia), 4 from new family outbreaks, 1 from preoperative screening and 1 sporadic with symptoms.
In the province of Ferrara, of 10 new positives, 4 refer to sporadic cases of symptomatic people, 2 were identified thanks to the follow-up of already known cases, 3 returned from vacation in Italy (2 Sardinia and 1 Sicily) and 1 from abroad ( Senegal).

These are the data, verified at 12 noon on Friday from institutional requests, related to the advance of the epidemic in the region.
The swabs made yesterday are 10,080, for a total of 874,312. To these are added 2,724 serological tests. Active cases, which is the number of real patients, are currently 2,621 (154 more than those registered yesterday). Unfortunately, there is a death in the province of Parma.
People isolated at home, or those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment, or are asymptomatic, are a total of 2,518 (+152), 96% of active cases. Intensive care patients increased to 9 (+1) and those hospitalized in other Covid departments increased to 94 (+1).

The total number of cured people is 24,467 (+7): 25 “clinically cured”, that is, they were asymptomatic after presenting clinical manifestations associated with the infection, and 24,442 those declared completely cured because they were negative in two consecutive tests.
