The sacrosanct anti-Covid vaccine is mandatory

The Covid vaccine is almost ready. The first to try it in Europe is a 90-year-old Irish lady. At last! … This is how doctors like me generally react, not directly on the front line but, as surgeons, in any case exposed daily, between interventions and emergencies, to the invisible and tragic scourge of this century.

It seems absurd, however, that there is someone, unfortunately it is the large part of the population, who does not believe in vaccines … not only in futility, but also in the danger and design of the Orwellian Big Brother to manipulate even our genetic code, permanently removing our “privacy” … as if our privacy still existed.

We have (except the homeless) an address where our mail goes. Not just a physical, tangible address, such as the flat where we live or the office where we work, but even one in the cryptomondo of the web: our e-mail. Almost everyone has a bank account, an ATM, a credit card and … discount cards, membership cards for bookstores, clubs, associations; and also the garage that tells us when to do the maintenance of the car … online shopping, Amazon, Catawiki … ah, I forgot about social networks: Facebook, where if you just think you want a steak, after a minute is overwhelmed by hundreds of offers for the purchase of a compatible barbecue and tools.

Let’s go back to the vaccine: now it’s there perplexity about the fact that everyone who is part of the health system, that is doctors, nurses and assistants, cannot get vaccinated. This is because statistically, referring to annual flu vaccines, only 30% of these have used them in recent years … and only 15% of the general population (35% of the Italian population has more than 65 years). .. Although it is an irrefutable fact that the flu vaccine reduces the number of deaths and access to the emergency room, especially in the 1960s, in recent years several million euros and vaccination doses have been thrown away.

The inherent contradiction of humanity became evident with the resentment and accusation against the health and government systems when, last October, insufficient doses of the flu vaccine arrived … as if you wanted to possess at all costs, free, a car, without having a driver’s license.

The drastic but effective solution would be: make vaccination mandatory. Certainly for health personnel, but nonetheless for all population groups at risk. What is injected (if the doctors and nurses do not know that it is serious) is not the complete virus, but a branch of the RNA material, which will not be able to enter the nucleus of our cells and damage it, and which will allow (hopefully, This may be the dilemma) to produce antibodies directed against the proteins of the virus, killing it or rendering it inactive.

Respecting within the limits the will not to be vaccinated, those who refuse administration can be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and registered, in order to obtain useful data to control the spread of the virus. There is nothing dictatorial about the mandatory nature of the vaccine, when it comes to defending the entire population. Thanks to the mandatory nature of vaccines, for example, polio and some of the complex exanthematous diseases have been defeated. We have endured mandatory military service for decades, we will endure something that can bring us back to normal life.
