An illegal betting round between Palermo and Naples capable of collecting bets of at least 2.5 million euros a month, as emerged from the wiretaps. This is what the two criminal associations achieved, both “headed” by Salvatore Rubino, arrested in the financial police bombing as part of the “All In is playing” operation. In addition to Rubino, 14 other people ended up handcuffed, accused, for various reasons, of criminal association aimed at illegal gambling and fraud against the State, as well as fraudulent transfer of securities.
In the video the interceptions in which a cross-section of the modus operandi of the two associations emerges: from the agreements on the opening of new agencies to the distribution of accumulated profits with clandestine bets.
Six ended up in prison, the other nine were placed under house arrest. With the same measure, the investigating judge ordered the preventive seizure of 6 betting agencies, located in Palermo and in the province of Naples, for a total value estimated at around one million euros.
