35 confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity were reported by the Belcolle Molecular Genetics section to the Viterbo ASL Coronavirus Operational Team at 11 am.
Four other positive cases were detected in additional health facilities in Asl. In total there are 39.
The latest positivity reports are linked to swabs made to citizens residing or domiciled in the following municipalities: 12 in Viterbo, 4 in Castel Sant’Elia, 3 in Vallerano, 2 in Nepi, 2 in Ronciglione, 2 in Civita Castellana, 1 in Oriolo Romano, 1 in Marta, 1 in Vitorchiano, 1 in Monterosi, 1 in Vetralla, 1 in Grotte di Castro, 1 in Bassano Romano, 1 in Blera, 1 in Capodimonte, 1 in Caprarola, 1 in Corchiano, 1 in Farnese, 1 in Faleria and 1 in Acquapendente.
Of the current cases, 14 have an epidemiological link with previously verified and isolated cases, 24 are connected to swabs performed by symptomatology, 1 is connected to a swab performed later to access a health center. 36 are convalescing at home, 3 are currently hospitalized in the Belcolle infectious disease ward.
The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures, in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.
In total, at 11 this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 1,052 of which 60 are the cases verified in non-ASL structures.
Today the institutionally competent subjects were informed about the recovery of the Covid-19 of 8 resident patients, or domiciled in the following municipalities: 2 in Viterbo, 2 in Graffignano, 1 in Monterosi, 1 in Soriano nel Cimino, 1 in Civita Castellana and 1 in Bagnoregio.
At the moment, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus: 23 are hospitalized in the infectious disease ward, 3 are hospitalized in an additional ASL health center, 445 are convalescing at home. The number of negative people rises to 553, 28 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.
From the beginning of the emergency COVID-19, in the province of Viterbo, 37,515 swabs were made, 322 in the last 24 hours. To date, 966 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, while 5,906 have completed the isolation period.
The seroprevalence investigation initiated by the Lazio region continues in Tuscia. As of yesterday, the Belcolle and Civita Castellana analysis laboratories reported 9955 serological tests. Of these, 139 gave positive results, with a prevalence rate of 1.40%.
