Only one new case of positivity for Covid was discovered in the province of Brindisi in the last 24 hours, out of the 76 new infections registered in Puglia. However, the number of swabs decreased: only 2,683 tests were performed in one day. According to the data provided by the Region through the epidemiological bulletin, the new cases are distributed as follows: 30 in the province of Bari, 12 in the province of Bat. 1 in the province of Brindisi, 17 in the province of Foggia, 3 in the province of Lecce, 12 in the province of Taranto, 1 resident outside the region. No deaths were recorded.
Taking a look at the epidemiological map attached to the bulletin, the only municipality in the province of Brindisi that changes color is that of Ostuni. In fact, the White City goes from 1-5 currently positive cases to 6-10.
Since the beginning of the emergency, 399,109 tests have been carried out: 4,527 patients have been cured; 2,404 are currently positive cases. The total number of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 7,521, divided as follows: 2,926 in the province of Bari; 636 in the province of Bat; 769 in the province of Brindisi; 1808 in the province of Foggia; 790 in the province of Lecce; 532 in the province of Taranto; 59 attributed to residents outside the region; 1 province of unknown residence.
