Positive swabs and coronavirus drop in Sicily: 337 those registered in the last 24 hours, less than half compared to yesterday. The figures – which come from the usual newsletter of the Ministry of Health – are undoubtedly affected by the number of swabs carried out: 4,038, lower than the latest surveys for vacations.
Despite this, the positivity rate is drastically reduced, from 11.1% yesterday to 8.3% today. The positives are a total of 33,290, with an increase of 50 units. Deaths increase again: 27 registered.
There are 1,184 hospitalizations in hospitals: with 19 more occupied places; While the admissions in the ordinary regime are 1014, in intensive care they are 170 (-4 compared to yesterday). At the Civico the first vaccination in Sicily
The first inoculation of the anti-Covid vaccine to a Sicilian citizen that falls within the objective identified by the National Plan agreed with the Regions is scheduled for tomorrow, at 11.30 am, in Pavilion 24 of the Civic Hospital of Palermo. In the outpatient clinic set up for V-Day and in the other administration centers of the Civic Hospital, other vaccines will continue.
Tomorrow, specifically, there will be up to nine representatives of the Order of Physicians (one for each province), five general practitioners, five free-choice pediatricians, five continuity doctors and 10 representatives of 118 (among doctors, nurses and rescue drivers). In addition, three representatives from Ismett, three from the Giglio di Cefalù Foundation and 15 employees from Arnas Civico itself will be vaccinated.
According to the objective of the vaccination campaign, 30 Sicilians who enter within the RSA will also be vaccinated in Palermo. In the next few days (until December 30), however, 10 representatives of each Sanitary Company in Sicily will arrive at all the administration centers of the city of Palermo to receive the anti-Coronavirus vaccine. In this first phase, in Sicily, there will be a total of 685 people who will undergo the vaccine, as of next January 4 it will proceed according to what is established by the national plan that has outlined the objective. Tomorrow morning at the Civic will also be the president of the Region Nello Musumeci and the councilor for health Ruggero Razza.
