On Friday, December 18, another 2,744 cases were verified in Lombardy (14 more than yesterday), compared to 33,846 swabs: the relationship between the tests carried out and the new positives is 8.11%. Between Brescia and the interior of the country in the last 24 hours, another 252 people were positive for the virus, yesterday there were 306, Wednesday 375, Tuesday 89.
The total number of occupied resuscitation beds decreased by 9 units compared to yesterday, between deceased and recovered patients: 602 people are hospitalized in the intensive care units of the regional hospitals. The number of beds occupied by less seriously ill patients was reduced by 137 units to a total of 4,656. In hospitals in the region there are a total of 5,258 people with Covid (146 less than on Thursday). There were 60 deaths – the (official) total came to 24,225.
