New registry of coronavirus infections, in Abruzzo, since the beginning of the emergency: 625 positives were found in the last hours, out of 3,951 swabs. A number never that high, not even in the first phase of the pandemic. 208 refer to tracing known outbreaks.
There are also 6 deaths, of patients between 56 and 92 years old: 2 are from the province of Chieti, the same number from L’Aquila, one in Teramo and one in the province of Pescara.
Thus, the number of positive cases registered in Abruzzo since the beginning of the emergency amounts to 15,143, while deaths are 625.
The newly infected are between 6 months and 96 years old. The very young, under 19, are 106, of which 29 in the province of L’Aquila, 16 in the province of Pescara, 18 in the province of Chieti, 43 in the province of Teramo.
The number of positive cases also includes 4,669 discharged / cured (+77 compared to yesterday).
The positives currently in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / recovered and deceased from the total positives) are 9,872 (+541 compared to yesterday).
513 patients (+29 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in non-intensive care; 48 (+5 compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 9,311 (+507 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.
Of the total positive cases, 4,531 are residents or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+212 compared to yesterday), 2,928 in the province of Chieti (+131), 3,391 in the province of Pescara (+100), 3,967 in the province of Teramo (+185), 134 outside the region (+3) and 192 (-7) for which provenance controls are being carried out.
Since the beginning of the Coronavirus emergency, a total of 319,079 tests have been carried out (+3,951 compared to yesterday).
