For twenty-four hours, the whole of Italy has been passionately commenting on the photos of some Milanese people drinking a beer on the Navigli with a shoulder strap, without respecting the distances between one nose and another intimate by the government. And since, as is known, the virus has improved us, one of those beautiful hate campaigns that we miss so much was launched on social networks, this time directed against the unfortunate lightness of Milan and its inhabitants. Defending suicide bombers from the aperitif would be a maverick habit, which of all the conformisms is perhaps the worst. However, it is also difficult to be outraged by predictable events: if you suddenly open the doors to millions of human beings, after having held them captive for months, you must be aware that a small part of them lose control or simply do not care about you. the rules
I do not blame those who in this Phase Two consider it an honor to photograph the transgressors and then spread the evidence on social networks to feed the outrage and feel on the right side of history. Searching for a scapegoat calms anxiety. And the closer the goat gets, the more relieved it is. But if someone is looking for a good reason to lock us all up again, I’m afraid the Navigli doors are not up to scratch. Taking photos in certain nursing homes would be more functional for this purpose. Among other things, wide angle would not be necessary either.
