It is about an 86-year-old woman from Campomarino who had been hospitalized along with five other people in the infectious diseases department of the Cardarelli hospital in Campobasso. The lady had been transferred to the health center in the capital a couple of days ago, but no medical attention was necessary. He had a complex clinical picture and finally lost the battle against the terrible pneumonia caused by the virus.
It is the second death recorded in less than a month among the citizens of Campomarino: on September 26, the heart of an 85-year-old man, Francesco Battista, still hospitalized in Cardarelli, stopped beating. His death shocked the community.

In Macchiagodena, for her part, Mayor Felice Ciccone expressed her condolences to the family of Antonio Notte, the 61-year-old man who died and tested positive for Covid-19.
