Ducati presents its new two-wheeler inspired by the Lamborghini Siàn, we see it through the images of the Ducati World Première web series, now in its fourth episode to unveil this novelty in a limited and numbered edition of 630 units.

Diavel 1260 Lamborghini was born from collaboration between the two prestigious brands which have their roots in the Motor Valley, the motor land of Emilia-Romagna, where many of the world’s sportiest and most sought-after car and motorcycle companies are located. A new two-wheeler born in Borgo Panigale, unconventional, unique, unmistakable: the Diavel 1260 is the model in the Ducati range capable of surprising enthusiasts with its personality, its sporty handling on the road, its sports engine of thoroughbred and by design.

Ducati designers were inspired by the Siàn FKP 37, the most prestigious car ever made by Lamborghini: available in just 63 units, each of which was customized to specific customer requests, it is a masterpiece of exclusivity, design and innovation.

Andrea Ferraresi, director of the Ducati Style Center, explains: “By creating a Diavel inspired by the Siàn we celebrate the values we share with Lamborghini: we are Italians, we are athletes and design is a distinctive element of our creations. The Diavel 1260 Lamborghini was designed using the same stylistic language that distinguishes the supercar, so we have redesigned all the elements that characterize the design of a Diavel. “

Mitja Borkert, Head of Design at Automobili Lamborghini, declares: “We are convinced of the strength of our design, one of the most recognized in the automotive world. The clean but extremely distinctive silhouette is the foundation of our language. The visionary approach to design allows us to transfer our DNA to other products. We have done a deep teamwork to share our styles, benefiting from being inspired by the same values and the search for fun at the wheel ”.

The Diavel 1260 Lamborghini was born from the joint work between the Ducati Style Center and the Lamborghini Style Center and was conceived by transferring the fundamentals of the Siàn FKP 37 design to the motorcycle world and redesigning the parts that most characterize the Diavel. The livery was made using the same paintings used for the Siàn, the “Verde Gea” bodywork, the chassis, the lower rear panel and the forged wheels are adorned with the use of the “Gold Electrum” color. There is also a touch of “Ducati Red”.

The details of the bike that the Ducati Style Center has redesigned for this specific project are made of carbon fiber. In the livery appears the 63, an important number for the Sant’Agata Bolognese company, founded in 1963 and which also indicates the limited series of the car. The heart is the 1262 cm3 Ducati Testastretta DVT with phase variator, Euro 5, delivery 162 cavalli of power.

The driving position and ergonomics of a typical Diavel “power cruiser” are some of the key features of the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, the chassis guarantees high levels of manipulation, combined with an excellent level of comfort. Sophisticated electronics guarantee high-level performance and maximum safety. The Diavel 1260 Lamborghini joins the Diavel 1260 range, which by 2021 registers the passage of all its models to Euro 5 approval, in the countries that adopt this legislation.
