With the ordinance just signed by the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, some regions will change color as of Sunday, November 29. Three of these, viz. Lombardy, Piedmont me Calabria, will pass through Red zone to that Orange. This means that, after the evaluation of the parameters established by the experts and in particular the decrease in RT, which is the virus’s transmissibility index, in these territories there may be less strict rules and especially less restrictions regarding displacements and opening of stores. Here, then, what changes between the red zone and the orange zone and what are the new rules to follow.
Movements
Less stringent travel measures. Although, in fact, in the red zone you cannot leave home except for reasons of work, health, necessity, urgency, education, or to go for a run or a walk, always close to your home, and self-certification, in the zone orange movement within its municipality is free between 5 and 22, when the night curfew begins. However, always in the orange zone it is forbidden to move from the Municipality itself, except for the needs listed above, and leave or enter the regional territory, except trips motivated by “proven needs”.
Shops, bars and restaurants
As in the red zone, they also remain in the orange zone. bars and restaurants closed, as much as ice cream parlors me pastry shops, except dining rooms and catering. Take away food and home delivery are still possible. Only restaurant services remain open in the motorway service areas, at the airport and at the hospital. On weekends, holidays and the eve of holidays, medium and large sales structures are closed, including shopping centers, except for pharmacies, food outlets, tobacconists and kiosks.
Transport
For transportation the same rules apply in all areas, so nothing changes in the transition from the red to the orange zone. Capacity is reduced by fifty% for local public transportation, with the exception of school transportation only.
School
Finally, unlike the red zone, in the orange zone, second and third grade could go back to school in attendance with mandatory mask. The baccalaureate would continue to be with distance education, with the exclusion of some cases of disability and for some workshops. Distance learning also for universities, except some labs and for freshmen. Fairs, conferences and even similar events, such as Christmas markets, are not allowed in both spaces. Museums closed and exhibitions suspended. Also closed for theaters and cinemas.
