Here we are almost there ».
“Split” is one of the most popular words: “We have been talking about it for seven years, since the first day we are in Parliament,” Senator Gianni Girotto explains with resignation, “that is why it is normal for us to talk about it today, after this result. ” Even Carla Ruocco doesn’t exclude it, laconically: “Maybe.” Then begins a path of hatred and bitterness, an all against everything that Roberto Fico summed up in “gang warfare”: “People were not valued,” says Ruocco, “it was all a game of friends and fireplaces.” From Battista? “She never really got involved.” Not even Dalila Nesci is grateful: “Enough of these high-sounding launches, enough of this train of big bankruptcies.” Emanuele Dessì says she is “sorry for him”: “I should thank Di Maio and Crimi, the alliances have not been made. And once again with these videos, these rough forms, this does not put people down.
The summit and the surgeon
Friends and fireplaces. And then there are the minimizers, the Christian Democrats, the resilient ones. The ones who only talk and you can close the umbrella. Like a sailboat
The team is also missing here, for now. “We have to become a party,” says Nesci. For this, currents are needed, which are not lacking, but which are under water. There are the governors (Patuanelli, D’Incà, Bonafede), the dimaiani (Castelli), the fichiani (Gallo, Brescia), the polemicists (Lezzi, Corrao), the anticasaleggiani (Dessì), the “Paroleguerriere” (Nesci, Trizzino) , the malpancisti (almost all).
A heap without a center, a large group in disorder. Dessì says it well: «We were made to destroy and we are very good at it, we don’t give a damn. The Democratic Party cannot oppose it, as can Forza Italia. And we, if we decide to govern, as voters and activists ask us, we must try to be artisans, engineers, architects, not demolitionists. Sileri confirms: “Staying in opposition is easier, shout, shout. If you go to the government, on the other hand, you mean and try to bring home the result. But you don’t have an engine, it’s like a boat trip. Make different trajectories, swing, follow the wind. And under the storm, docking is difficult, there is a risk of shipwreck or someone leaving the lifeboat and abandoning the ship.
