A total of 3,528 positive Covid-19 cases have been detected in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 57 new cases were registered, 42 detected through screening activities and 15 due to suspected diagnosis. The number of victims remains unchanged, 148 in total.
In total, 180,110 swabs were performed, an increase of 1,956 tests compared to the last update. On the other hand, 112 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (unchanged from yesterday’s figure), while 19 (+1) patients are in intensive care. There are 1,653 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 1,589 (+35) recovered patients, plus another 7 clinically recovered.
In the territory, of the 3,528 positive cases verified in total, 565 (+8) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 347 (+2) in the south of Sardinia, 267 (+3) in Oristano, 402 (+11 ) in Nuoro, 1947 (+33) in Sassari.
