Impressive new record of infections today in Calabria. I am indeedthe 358 new positive cases issued by the Region’s bulletin.
To date they have been tested 286,339 subjects for a total of 289,361 swabs performed (More tests can be done on the same topic).
The people who tested positive for Coronavirus are 6,450 (+358 compared to yesterday), the negative 279,889. These are the daily data related to the Covid-19 epidemic reported by the Department of Health Protection.
Cases province by province
Territorially, since the beginning of the epidemic, positive cases are distributed as follows:
- Cosenza: ACTIVE CASES 1,353 (89 on the ward; 4 in intensive care, 1,260 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 666 (618 recovered, 48 deceased)
- Catanzaro: ACTIVE CASES 670 (48 on the ward; 5 in intensive care; 617 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 358 (319 recovered, 39 deceased)
- Crotone: ACTIVE CASES 162 (8 on the floor; 154 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 161 (155 recovered, 6 deceased)
- Vibo valentia: ACTIVE CASES 93 (7 hospitalized, 86 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 125 (118 recovered, 7 deaths)
- Reggio Calabria: ACTIVE CASES 1,699 (65 in the ward; 2 in intensive care; 1,632 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 768 (741 recovered, 27 deceased)
- Another foreign region or state: ACTIVE CASES 267 (267 in home isolation); CASES CLOSED 128 (127 recovered, 1 deceased).
Also included is the person who died in the Cosenza intensive care unit who lived outside the region.
In the columns of the respective pavilions, hospitalized patients from outside the region and migrants were included; of the 30 admissions to the Catanzaro hospital, 5 refer to non-residents.
Three of the 89 hospitalized in the AO of Cosenza are non-residents; the patient discharged from Cosenza was included among those cured in the environment outside the region; the patient who died in Cosenza was included among those who died in the environment outside the region.
The new cases
Today’s confirmed cases are divided as follows: Cosenza: 85, Catanzaro 77, Crotone 4, Vibo Valentia 7, Reggio Calabria 185. Another foreign region or state 0.
Since the last survey, a total of 424 people have registered on the Calabria Region portal to communicate their presence in the regional territory.
The count also includes the two patients from Bergamo transferred to Catanzaro, while the numbers of the infection received after the communication of the data to Civil Protection are not included.
