Today, Saturday, November 14, 2020, there are 4,471 more cases of people positive for coronavirus than yesterday. Among them there are 1,648 asymptomatic, which is equivalent to 37% of the total. The cases of people who have so far tested positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont amount to 121,783, divided as follows by provinces: 10,492 Alessandria, 5527 Asti, 4229 Biella, 15,472 Cuneo, 8871 Novara, 67,103 Turin, 4491 Vercelli, 3502 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 757 residents outside the region but in charge of Piedmontese health structures. The remaining 1,269 are under development and territorial allocation.
Hospitalizations and tampons: the numbers
Compared to yesterday, the number of hospitalized in intensive care has increased (360 people in total, 7 more) and the number of hospitalized not in intensive care has increased (4,902 people in total, 12 more). There are 63,953 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 1,259,309 (more 19,715 compared to yesterday) of which 676,298 were negative.
The deaths
There are 37 Covid-19 test positive deaths reported by the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit. Of these, 5 occurred today (the updated cumulative data reported daily also includes deaths that occurred in the previous days and were only subsequently determined as Covid deaths). The total is now 5,001 deaths who tested positive for the virus, divided as follows by province: 780 Alessandria, 306 Asti, 253 Biella, 518 Cuneo, 483 Novara, 2200 Turin, 261 Vercelli, 150 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, as well as 50 residents outside the region but died in Piedmont.
Today, the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region announced that the patients cured are a total of 47,567 (+1,873 compared to yesterday) divided as follows at the provincial level: Alessandria 4725, Asti 2461, Biella 1490, Cuneo 5518, Novara 3636, Turin 25,778, Vercelli 1961, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola 1477, extra-region 274, in addition to 247 being defined.
