Behind them comes María Paola’s brother, also aboard a vehicle. It is not clear if the vehicle where his sister and partner travel is spurred, or if you lose control during what appears to be an actual chase. The fact is that the vehicle in which the two are traveling ends up on the ground: the impact is fatal for Maria Paola Gaglione, who practically dies instantly. Her companion is injured, who instead is transferred to the Villa dei Fiori emergency room by the doctors who arrived at the scene: she reported a fracture in her arm and several bruises and bruises on her shoulder.
The Acerra carabinieri, led by Commander Giovanni Caccavale for the reliefs and investigations, arrived at the site. Nola’s Prosecutor opens investigation, the girl’s partner is questioned and gives her version of events. And a few hours later the brother’s handcuffs are released, accused of death as a result of another crime and private violence. He is now in prison in Poggioreale, awaiting the hearing to validate his arrest. In the barracks he would have explained to them that, indeed, he had pursued the two on board the scooter, but at a safe distance. Therefore, it will be up to the researchers to clarify the matter, with a scheme yet to be defined. But in the Parco Verde di Caivano area, where the victim lived, there is already talk of a “frowned upon” relationship between Maria Paola Gaglione and her partner, who is the same age as the girl and the trans man. Meanwhile, it was election campaign suspended for the three mayoral candidates Antonio Angelino, Enzo Falco and Salvatore Ponticelli, who will resume only in the coming days, as a show of respect for an event that has shocked the town outside Naples.
