Giuseppe Conte has signed the new Dpcm which will soon be published in the Official Gazette. The Italian regions will be divided into three bands. Green Belt, where general national restrictions apply. Orange band, high risk, with additional restrictions. Red band, at serious risk, where there is a less rigid blockade than that of March-April.
Rome and therefore Lazio will be in green band which at the moment is the largest and concerns 12 Autonomous Regions and Provinces in addition to Lazio: Sicily, Sardinia, Basilicata, Molise, Abruzzo, Marche, Umbria. Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Trento PA, Veneto.
What changes with the new dpcm
For the Regions that will be in the third band, the measures announced by Conte are foreseen for the entire territory, namely:
- Shopping centers closed on weekends and holidays
- Curfew from 10pm, with the possibility of traveling only for health, work or need reasons
- 100% distance education in secondary schools
- Local public transport reduced by half (maximum capacity 50% for buses, trams, metro and regional trains), museums and exhibitions closed, as well as theaters and cinemas.
- In any case, any movement in and out of the high-risk areas of Covid (red areas and orange areas, ed) will be prohibited, except movements motivated by proven work needs or situations of need or for health reasons.
Red and orange areas
The regions with the highest risk of blockade, where the most restrictive measures must be adopted, are instead: Lombardy, Piedmont, Valle D’Aosta, Bolzano PA, Calabria. Regions of the Orange Zone: Liguria, Puglia and Campania.
An order from the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza, already scheduled tonight, will assign a band to each region. Those who enter the orange or red band must stay there for at least 15 days. The Minister of Health will update the bands periodically. The award is made on the basis of scientific data provided by the Technical-Scientific Committee.
The curfew
From 22:00 to 5:00 Lazio will also be subject to a tightening of the curfew measure: only trips motivated by proven work needs, by situations of need or for health reasons are allowed. In any case, it is strongly recommended to all natural persons, throughout the day, not to travel in public or private means of transport, except for reasons of work, study, health, situations of need or to carry out activities or use non-suspended services “.
