A teenager was reported a few days ago in Isola del Giglio. The boy was on vacation with his family, originally from Parma, in Giglio Campese. A few days ago the military intervened to calm the situation. The boy beat his 52-year-old mother, who was crying out for help.
The child’s aggression against his adoptive mother would have arisen because he had refused to return during the night. This caused a sudden outburst of anger in the teenager, unleashed in violence.
Investigations by the Carabinieri revealed a modest amount of hashish in the boy’s room that was seized. The Carabinieri discovered that this was not the first case of aggression he suffered: in the past the mother had been the victim of other physical violence by her son, for one of which she had suffered a knee fracture.
The intervention of the patrol allowed the situation to calm down and the woman was examined by the local health center, which found bruises on her legs as a result of the kicks that the minor threw at her. The child was charged with the crime of family abuse.
