Restaurants
The 600 million fund for the catering sector, introduced with the August decree, is reduced to 200 million euros. The allocation of 250 million euros is planned for 2021, which may also be used for requests for contributions already submitted until December 15, 2020 and “partially satisfied with the allocation for the year 2020.” The fund, constituted in the Mipaaf by the previous provision, “aims to grant a non-refundable subsidy to companies in activity on the date of entry into force” of the August decree that includes: farmhouses, catering, dining rooms, hotels limited to authorized activities for the food administration). For the year 2020, the additional expenditure of 62.2 million euros is authorized for the personnel of the Police Forces committed, between November 25 and December 31, 2020, in the containment of the coronavirus infection. In particular, 48.5 million will be allocated to the payment of compensation and 13.7 million to the payment of overtime. Another 5.5 million go to the fire brigade, for the payment of the overtime of the personnel of the National Corps, to face “the major commitments related to the epidemiological emergency.”
