Now there is official confirmation: Emilia-Romagna will be the “yellow zone” from Sunday. Governor Stefano Bonaccini himself announced it, after receiving the communication from the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza. The decision will be formalized by means of a new ordinance that will be signed in the next few hours. “Saturday will be the last day that the region will be in the orange zone: after midnight on Saturday it will enter the yellow zone.
“The restrictions of these three weeks – stresses Bonaccini – have paid off, but we must remain responsible and respect the rules because the commitment of all to stop the pandemic must continue, to protect the health of all, starting with people. more fragile, and to help health and social health structures – doctors, nurses, operators – who continue to do their job in a commendable way every day. ”
What can be done in the yellow zone?
With the return to the yellow zone, you can move without particular restrictions both between municipalities and to other regions if the destination is another yellow zone (you can also cross the red zones to get to another yellow zone, just don’t stop). The only limit is the curfew: it is forbidden to go from 10pm to 5pm. The shops remain open. On holidays and days prior to holidays, medium and large sales structures are closed, as well as commercial establishments in shopping centers and markets, with the exception of supermarkets and food stores, pharmacies, parapharmacies, health centers, tobacconists and kiosks.
The bars, restaurants, patisseries and ice cream parlors may remain open until 6:00 p.m. In the areas or at the times in which the consumption of food and beverages is suspended inside the premises (after 6:00 p.m.), the entry and stay in them by customers are allowed only for the time strictly necessary to buy take-out products (which remains allowed after closing time until 10:00 p.m.) and always in compliance with contagion prevention measures.
However, gatherings and consumption are not allowed in the vicinity of the premises in any place and time of day. Only food and beverage outlets in service and refueling areas located along highways, hospitals and airports may remain open after 6:00 p.m., with the obligation to guarantee in all cases that the law is respected. interpersonal distance of at least one meter as already happened in the orange zone.
As for reaching the second houses (in the sea, in the mountains or anywhere else), if both the first and the second house are in a municipality in the yellow zone, moving is allowed. If the second home is located in a municipality located in an orange or red strip, it is allowed only if due to the need to remedy unexpected and unpredictable situations (such as landslides, broken plumbing systems and the like and theft) and, in any case, in accordance with strictly functional schedules and methods to compensate for such situations.
