Suárez heard by prosecutors in Perugia: he would have admitted knowing the evidence

Luis Suárez was heard by the Perugia Prosecutor’s Office. The Uruguayan from Atlético was heard as a person informed of the facts by the Perugia magistrates who are investigating his “farce” exam, carried out at the University for Foreigners of Perugia, preparatory to obtaining citizenship.

The statement, which was made in Spanish and in which confidentiality is maintained, was especially interesting for the researchers. Suárez intervened via videoconference, as part of an international letter launched by the prosecutor headed by Raffaele Cantone. In his interview with the magistrates, Suárez had the assistance of his manager and lawyer. Even the manager was always listened to by the Perugian magistrates as a person informed of the facts.
