On September 8, 1971 he joined the Poohs, replacing Valerio Negrini. From that moment on, a great adventure began with his teammates: Roby Facchinetti, Dodi Battaglia, Red Canzian and Riccardo Fogli. For The Pooh he was a drummer, vocalist and lyricist. He played and wrote Tropic of the North, My Woman, the day before, If there is a place in my heart. Stefano D’Orazio leaves Pooh in September 2009 after a 38-date tour.
