Contact sports are prohibited but only at the amateur level. Green light for a public presence in stadiums for 15 percent of the capacity, always with a maximum of 1000 people not only in Serie A, but in all leagues with a percentage of 15 percent of the capacity. These are the measures contained in the new Dpcm signed during the night and which will be valid for 30 days. Great uncertainty about the indoor facilities: for the sports halls at a certain time of the day a quota of 1000 spectators was considered thanks to the push of the Regions. But at night, it returned to 200 for indoor plants.
Only football

Grassroots sports won’t stop. Football, rugby, dance, volleyball, basketball and all other activities in the afternoon continue, as long as the clubs that have security protocols activated. The gyms will also remain open. On the other hand, interpretations of the rules for citizen participation in events are multiplying. For the A series everything remains the same, but the doors of the other systems in the series open. Until now it had happened with regional ordinances, now instead the 15 percent rule is inserted, which however will have a limit of 1000 spectators. In the Dpcm (but the night of the negotiations was long …) the limit of 200 is maintained although the dialogue with the Regions, on the interpretation of the rules, has not yet finished. However, it is specified that “in any case the ordinances already adopted by the autonomous regions and provinces are reserved.” For example, in basketball on Sunday at the Palaserradimigni in Sassari, Banco Sardegna will challenge Fortitudo Lavoropiù Bologna with the possibility of having 700 spectators.
Imola “saves”

The reference to “subject to ordinances” should allow the public to attend Imola for the Emilia Romagna Formula 1 GP on November 1. In September, in fact, Emiliano Governor Stefano Bonaccini had signed the provision. And based on the security protocol, the limit was also established: 13,147 viewers. Also, here the pre-sale has started for 20 days. But here there is a knot that must be solved because the “salvation” of the ordinances in last night’s version of the text spoke of “sports competitions not outdoors”, evidently with reference to basketball and volleyball. On this front, the Regions may also try to exceed the threshold of 200 spectators but must do so with the consent of the Ministry of Health. As if to say: the Dpcm, which will last one month, has reached its goal. But there will be other stages in the coming days.
