The Russian Sputnik vaccine is 92% effective against Covid-19. Russian media reported it, citing the vaccine’s Twitter account. According to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Health, the Gamaleya State Research Center and the Russian Direct Investment Fund taken by the Moscow Times, the results show that 20 of the 16,000 volunteers who received both doses of the vaccine or placebo contracted COVID-19.
