New rules from January 7 with a bridging measure. The government would be considering the adoption of valid measures in the period between January 7 and 15, that is, between the expiration of the Christmas decree – which ends on January 6 – and that of the last Dpcm. It is one of the hypotheses elaborated in the meeting between Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, the heads of delegation of the majority, Ministers Roberto Speranza and Francesco Boccia and Cts.
The comparison takes place after the last few days that have shown an increase in the positivity rate. Today, with 14,425 infections detected in 102,974 swabs, the positivity rate is around 13.8%.
After the holidays, according to a scheme used in recent months, one returns to the ‘traditional’ subdivision of the regions into different bands: red zone, orange zone and yellow zone. However, the evaluation criteria could be modified to adopt more or less restrictive rules, perhaps paying more attention to the positivity index.
The issue of the school is also on the table: the reopening of January 7 is in the spotlight, also due to the concerns highlighted by some governors about the partial resumption of activity in presence in secondary schools, with the consequent increase assistance in means of transport.
