Ragusa – There are 49 new positives in Sicily in the last 24 hours, 12 more than yesterday and even with fewer buffers: 2333 against 2700 yesterday. Fifteen positives are migrants within the Lampedusa hotspot. The total positives in Sicily since the beginning of the pandemic is 4,765.

On the provincial distribution front, there are 12 cases in Catania, 5 in Messina, 28 in Palermo (including 15 invited immigrants from the Lampedusa hotspot), 2 in Ragusa and one in Syracuse. There are currently 101 people hospitalized (+15), 13 in intensive care, 1,265 in home isolation for a total of 1,379 positives. The healed are 3097. The deaths remain unchanged: 289.

At the national level, infections continue to decrease, there are 1,108 (yesterday 1,297) but there are 12 deaths to be registered in the last 24 hours. The total of positives amounts to 278,784 while the victims amount to a total of 35,553.

Those cured in 24 hours are 223 (yesterday 406), 210,238 in total. The number of people currently positive increases by 915 to 32,993. However, tampons are in sharp decline, according to data from the Ministry of Health, 52,553 were made, almost 25,000 less than the day before.
