Weather trend: Valentine's Day Siberian frost?
Weather trend: Valentine’s Day Siberian frost?

CLIMATE TREND, SIBERIAN FREEZE SINCE VALENTINE’S DAY, HIGHER CHANCE – There are still several days left, so it can only be a general climate trend that will need a lot of confirmation, however the mathematical models smell (and insist) quite unanimously now a severe cold wave for half of Europe since Valentine’s Day Valentine. Specifically, from February 12 to 13, we could see the formation of a powerful anticyclone between Scandinavia and the North Sea, supported by a subtropical promontory that rises above Western Europe, which would effectively close the doors of the Atlantic on the Old Continent. On the other hand, however, along the right edge of this anticyclone, Russo-Siberian frost would be pumped directly to Central and Eastern Europe, particularly between Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, and later the Northern Balkans, where the climate could become exceptionally harsh. The icy irruption could affect Italy, entering through the Adriatic port in the form of very cold winds from Bora and Grecale.

With frost, snow could clearly come to the plains and the shores. It is still too early to provide more details on the extent and trajectory of this icy flow., and more about the location of the snowfalls, but let’s say there is a lot of ‘meat on the fire’ and it is a situation to be monitored and analyzed day by day. Important updates to follow!
