A man was seriously injured
OLGINADO – Shooting with two wounded in Olginate, one of whom was rescued in very serious condition. It happened early in the afternoon on Sunday, in via Albegno, in front of the Convent of Santa María La Vite.
Shots rang out from across the block. A man was left on the ground, hit by the bullets. His condition would be critical. Another person, it was learned, was rescued on the nearby Crotto road with a gunshot wound. The attacker escaped.
Two ambulances, one self-medical, the Carabinieri de Merate and Lecco and the State Police were immediately taken to the scene. To clarify the contours of the story, the police are investigating. Among the hypotheses is that of a settlement of accounts linked to the dispute that took place last night, also in Olginate, between a 25-year-old resident of Calolzio and other people.
Olginate Mayor Marco Passoni was also brought to the site.
