She was bathing in the Adda, near Bartesaghi Park in Sondrio, when the current swept her away, making her disappear. Rescue operations for a girl of about 16 years are currently underway in the park with her family.

The alarm went off at 6 pm today, Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Firefighters with divers, police officers and an ambulance were at the scene. The area is flown over by a mountain rescue helicopter.
