A former priest, Don Felice La Rosais stat arrested and placed under house arrest on charges of sexual acts with minors. The news is reported by local Calabrian newspapers. Paid by The Rose, 44 years old former parish priest of Zungrì, in the province of Vibo Valentia, was carried out through a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge at the request of the Reggio Calabria prosecutor, Giovanni Bombardieri, the deputy Gerardo Dominijanni and the prosecutor Marco Lojodice.

The facts disputed by the former parish priest date back to last year. La Rosa had been surprised by the officers of the Gioia Tauro police station by car, between Rosarno and San Ferdinando, with a sixteen year old girl of Bulgarian nationality whom he allegedly abused after paying a sum of money. Defended by attorneys Guido Contestabile and Pietro Antonio Corsaro, the priest was arrested in 2016 and definitively sentenced to 2 years and 4 months in prison for the same crime.
