It is not yet clear where the accident occurred or what caused it. The only certainty is that a 25-year-old boy died last night in the hospital just one day after his hospitalization. The victim is Gianluca Napoli, a resident of the Pallavicino area, transferred to the Trauma Center in Villa Sofia. According to an initial reconstruction, the accident occurred on Tuesday night, between 9:30 pm and 10:30 pm, in Viale Regione, near Tommaso Natale. According to rumors, the young man lost control of his scooter, a Honda Sh300, to avoid an animal that would have come out of nowhere. Some friends and other drivers would have called 118.
The doctors who intervened at the scene gave Gianluca the first treatment before going to the emergency room. On impact, the young man suffered a severe head injury with cerebral edema that left him no escape. After the death, the intervention of the police was requested at the hospital together with the coroner, who gave the go-ahead for the return of the body to the family for the funeral.
