The president of the Emilia-Romagna Region, Stefano Bonaccini, in a long interview with Corriere della Sera, talks about the consequences of the agreement between the State and the Regions for the return to school.

“The agreement we have reached with the government is a positive and promising starting point. A sign of hope for all families and for young people. It is very important that as of January 7, the institutes reopen, as those of my generation called them. School is not only about learning, it is also about socializing and relating. As far as I’m concerned, it’s like that only with the teacher and the students in front of him ”.

Reopening of schools on January 7: yes, face-to-face classes, at the beginning at 50% [BOZZA intesa, nota Ministero ]

Then on Minister Azzolina: “Understandably, Minister Azzolina fights for the reopening of the schools, but thank you for accepting our proposal. I understand the objections of my fellow Presidents of the Region who prefer to leave with 50% attendance, in a more gradual way, also considering that on January 7 we left the red zone for two weeks. For this reason, in the end, the proposal of the Conference of the Regions was to proceed with all precautions. But we promised to go up to 75% later. Everyone will be in the classroom when the contagion curve has definitely dropped ”.
