School: from October 22 the extraordinary contest – Cronaca

[ad_1]

October 22 is the date chosen by the Ministry of Education to begin the test of the extraordinary competition for the school. This is what emerged at the end of the meeting between the unions and the ministry. Rehearsals will run until November 9. The extraordinary contest, which is giving away 32,000 places for temporary workers who have completed at least three years of service, saw the presentation of 64,000 applications. The start of the competition is scheduled for October 22 and will continue in the coming weeks. The proficiency test will consist of five open questions and one question in English.

The test will last 150 minutes. Tomorrow the announcement will be in the Official Gazette. The new professors will be prepared to move to the chair next year in September although, according to the agreement signed last summer after a tough fight in the majority, their hiring is delayed to September 1 of this year. For the development, not only the computer rooms of the schools involved will be used, but also the university classrooms of the universities that have offered their collaboration. The submission of nominations for the committees has been postponed to September 30, but the problem is how to safely run a contest with many candidates. The unions have raised doubts that refer mainly to surveillance, sanitation and the risks that the massive operation of the contest inevitably entails. Parents are not allowed into schools, per protocol, and will many people be allowed to participate in competitions? How will sanitizations be handled? If there are Covid cases among the competition candidates, will the lessons be interrupted? These are some of the most recurring questions.
