School: back to the classroom in Codogno, soon bio masks – Ultima Ora

(ANSA) – MILAN, SEPTEMBER 14 – At eight in the morning, the approximately 4000 students from Codogno returned to their desks, from those in primary school to high school, such as the Tosi Agricultural Technical Institute. The schools in the municipality where the first case of Coronavirus was found in Italy were closed as of February 22, a day after the evaluation of the first case of Coronavirus in Italy. And the same happened with the other nine municipalities that were later isolated in the red zone. At the sound of the bell that starts classes, Mayor Francesco Passerini accompanied by the Councilors for Education and Public Works who in recent months, together with the director of the Integral Institute (kindergarten, primary and high school), who organized the reopening complying with anti-Covid regulations, he will visit some schools to wish the students a “good start” because “it will be a delicate and complicated year.” For the occasion, the mayor will donate 5,000 surgical masks to Ognissanti High School. And speaking of masks, he announced, biodegradable ones should arrive soon, “to preserve the environment. A Lombard company that produces them has already been contacted and we are waiting for a budget (ANSA).
