Sardinia, the virus slows down again: today only 116 new infections and seven deaths, a decrease compared to yesterday. A total of 30,417 positive Covid-19 cases have been detected in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency. In the last update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 116 new cases were detected. There are also 7 deaths (738 in total). In total, 474,385 swabs were performed with an increase of 2,489 tests. On the other hand, 498 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (+1 compared to yesterday’s figure), while the number of patients in intensive care is 45 (+1). There are 15,715 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 13,130 (+200) recovered patients, plus another 291 clinically recovered. In the territory, of the 30,417 positive cases verified in total, 6,821 (+46) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 4,945 (+22) in southern Sardinia, 2,401 (+13) in Oristano, 6,044 in Nuoro, 10,206 (+35) in Sassari.
