From what emerges, after the new increase in infections, yesterday a record of 349 cases, and after what has already been established by other governors, restrictions will be issued to counteract the spread of Covid-19.

One will concern distance education for high school and college, as well as the provision of a reduction in capacity in local public transport and, again, a general tightening in meetings, more limitations in contact sports, stops at parties related to ceremonies. .

Define the new measures for bars, pubs and restaurants that could be the subject of a second provision that will be issued closely, after a meeting of the Regional Council that allows Solinas to report on the situation.

Possible limitations on access to the island by air and sea, but compatible with national decisions, and in any case this measure could be later.

Yesterday’s figures are those that have never been recorded since the beginning of the emergency: of the 349 new cases, 241 were detected through detection activities and 108 due to suspected diagnosis. Also record the number of swabs performed, 3,746 in one day.

The death toll stands at 181, while 275 patients are currently hospitalized, plus another 36 in intensive care.
