San Severo, steals women’s bags and injures another: arrested

He was arrested for the crime of flight and denounced for aggravated robbery against two women, as well as for extortion, damage and mistreatment in the family against the elderly mother.

The culprit is a 37-year-old from San Severo, detained by police officers from the Bari crime prevention department and the San Severo police station.

The police officers intervened at the request of the man’s sister, who uses drugs and who had come to his house to ask for money. When her mother refused, she turned upside down and damaged the furniture in the house. In fact, the signs of the man’s reckless reaction were clearly apparent, absent from the place of house arrest at the time.

Meanwhile, while he was nearby, he had snatched a woman’s bag and violently dragged another unhappy woman who had managed to resist, but suffered trauma and bruising.

The search for the wrongdoer ended positively as the man was blocked in the vicinity of his home and arrested. After the procedures, it was carried out in the local Foggia jail at the disposal of the Judicial Power.
