Another popular toy were shaped wooden pins with stylized human features, who portrayed fictional characters from newspapers (such as those in ‘Corriere dei Piccoli’) and children’s literature, but also, for example, soccer players. the dolls from that time They were made of lenci cloth, papier-mâché, and porcelain and wore elegant fashionable dresses or exotic dresses; the luckiest girls might even get a dollhouse, complete with custom-made mini furniture.
