To certify the two episodes of sexual violence committed by a 46-year-old taxi driver from Rome, it was the carabinieri from the Monte Mario station who executed an order for the application of precautionary measures of house arrest, issued by the Investigating Judge. of the Court of Rome at the request of the Prosecutor.

The precautionary measure represents the result of an investigative activity that made it possible to reconstruct, with certainty, two different episodes that occurred in April 2017 and January 2020.

In the first episode, the 46-year-old, taking advantage of “his profession as a taxi driver” according to the Prosecutor’s Office, after having received a 20-year-old American client in his car and made her sit in the back seat of the taxi, began to fondle his private parts despite resistance. of the girl.

The taxi driver also, as reconstructed, would also have stopped the march and would have positioned himself in the back seat, unable to complete the sexual relationship only because of the strong opposition of the young woman.

In the second episode, according to what emerged from the investigations, the taxi driver instead abused a 34-year-old Roman woman after having accompanied her home while she, the investigators reported, “was completely unconscious due to excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages“.

The 46-year-old taxi driver, after the violence, then contacted the victim to see her again, informing her that the two had had sex the night before. The Roman, accused of two episodes of sexual violence against the two women, is now under house arrest at his home at the disposal of the Judiciary.
